Sard Terms of Use

Sard is in pilot. It is offered to selected clinics in Jordan, free of charge, on synthetic or consented test data. It is not yet cleared for real patient records.
The clause that matters
Sard drafts. You own the record. Everything Sard produces is a draft until a clinician has read it, corrected it and signed it.
Sard's intended purpose is clinical documentation — turning a consultation you conducted into a written record you review and sign. It is not intended or supplied as a diagnostic aid, and no output of it should be treated as a diagnosis, a prescription or a clinical decision. Clinical judgement is yours and stays yours.
A clinician who signs a note is taking clinical and legal responsibility for its contents, including for anything a machine wrote in it. That is why nothing is signed automatically, why every field shows where it came from, and why the chief concern, every problem, every suggested diagnostic code and the patient instructions must each be confirmed before a note can be signed.
Who may use it
Licensed clinicians, and staff a clinic authorises. Accounts are granted by hand: creating one does not give it access to anything. Do not share an account — a signature has to mean one person.
Your obligations
- Obtain the patient's agreement before recording. Sard will not record without it.
- Review every note before signing it. This is not a formality; it is the product.
- Keep your credentials to yourself, and tell us at once if an account is compromised.
- Do not upload anything that is not a consultation you are entitled to record.
What we do not promise
Transcription and drafting are done by machine learning models and they will be wrong sometimes. We have built the product around that fact rather than around a claim of accuracy: claims are dropped when they cannot be traced to what was said, drugs without a dose are flagged rather than completed, and a note the system could not ground is withheld instead of shown. None of that makes it correct. Reviewing it does.
During the pilot we do not promise uptime, and we may change or withdraw features. We will not delete your data without telling you.
Liability
Sard is provided as-is during the pilot. Nothing in these terms limits liability for anything that cannot lawfully be limited under Jordanian law, and nothing here transfers a clinician's own professional responsibility for the records they sign — that responsibility is not ours to take and not theirs to give away.
Ending it
You can stop using Sard at any time and ask us to export or delete what we hold. We can end a pilot account, and will give reasonable notice and time to export unless an account is being misused.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of Jordan, and the courts of Amman have jurisdiction.
